I discovered Harlem Shakes late last year and their most recent album, Technicolor Health, hasn’t gone a few days without a play since. Unfortunately, I just read that they disbanded just around the time I got into them. But that doesn’t change how incredible this album is, front to back. It’s got all the pop rock goodness, indie charm, and sassy wit you can ask for without the hypersucarose aftertaste of a band like Phoenix or the tangible airs of superiority of a band like Vampire Weekend.
